Q. What's a Premium ticket?
A. Premium tickets include one entry into the screening and a deck chair to sit on. Deck chairs are allocated on a first come, first serve basis upon arrival.
Q. What’s a VIP ticket?
A. VIP tickets include entry for up to 4 people into the screening and the use of one of our bespoke beach huts for the duration of a single screening. Beach huts include luxury seating, a complimentary fully stocked mini-bar, and butler service. All VIP ticket holders will be allocated their hut on a first come first served basis upon arrival.
Q. What am I sitting on? Can I bring my own chair like your normal events?
A. Yes, by all means feel free to bring a picnic chair or blanket to sit on if you have a General Admission ticket. Please note that our ushers request those members of the audience on chairs not to sit at the front, but rather position themselves at the side or towards the back of the audience arena. We have blankets and back rests for sale on site.

Q. When can I arrive at the screening?
For all screenings, doors open an hour and a half before the scheduled start time.
Security checks and bag searches will be conducted prior to your entrance into the event site so allow additional time. Please note the prohibited items list on our Event Info page as these items will be confiscated. To speed up the process, we strongly advise that you minimize the number of items you bring with you.
Q. What happens if it rains?
A. The event will always go ahead in the event of bad weather. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Great British Summer. Screenings will only be cancelled if the weather conditions present a danger at screening time. Patrons accept the risk that weather they consider unsatisfactory may occur on a screening day and acknowledge that tickets will not be exchanged or refunded unless a screening is cancelled by the Luna Cinema Beach. In the unlikely event that a screening is cancelled, we will aim to give as much notice as possible, so please keep an eye out for information on the website and social media.
Q. How will I receive my ticket?
A. This depends on how you choose to book - you can opt to have a print at home ticket or a physical ticket that is posted to you by first class post. The charges for each are clearly set out on each booking. Please make sure you bring your ticket (whether it’s a print at home, e-ticket on a device, or posted ticket) to the event as our staff will scan each to ensure validity. Q. Can I smoke at the screening?
A. In accordance with Smoke-Free Regulations, marquees and other areas of the event site are designated ‘No Smoking’ areas – this includes e-cigarettes. If you wish to smoke, please head for the designated smoking area (signed) at the back of the site.
Q. Can I bring a dog to the screening?
A. Only service dogs are allowed at the Luna Beach Cinema screenings. Otherwise, no dogs are permitted at our events out of respect to other audience members. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Q. Will there be toilet facilities at the screenings?
A. Yes, all our screenings have toilet facilities. These include disabled toilet facilities.
Q. Can I bring children?
A. Children are permitted at our events, but please be aware that they must adhere to the film’s certification and our stewards will check to make sure that all audience members are the suitable age to see the film. Valid photographic ID will be required for any patron we believe to be under the age certification of the film. The following ID can be used as proof of age: current Passport, current UK Driver’s License or Provisional License, VALIDATE UK, CitizenCard.
Q. Will there be food and drink available at the screening?
A. We have a bar on-site serving a full selection of hot and cold drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, as well as various food options. For more information, visit our Food + Drink page. Please refrain from bringing outside food and drink to the Luna Beach Cinema screenings as it will not be allowed into the event site.
Q. What if I forget my ticket?
A. Please bring your ticket along – if you do forget it, we have a record of all bookings, so if you provide our steward with your details we can admit you into the event. All audience members including children must have a valid ticket.
Q. Will there be subtitles?
A. Not as standard, if you require subtitles please inform us in advance.
Q. Is there wheelchair access?
A. Yes, our site has wheelchair access, but please inform us in advance if you require wheelchair entry and exit and we will ensure you are looked after. Please note, the ground is uneven in places, so we recommend making use of the designated pathways when moving around the site.
Q. Can I hire the Luna Cinema for a private event?
A. Yes, our entire cinema set-up can be hired for parties, corporate screenings or whatever occasion you like! Please contact us and we will provide you with more details.
